Young Researchers' Group (YRG)
Aim of the Young Researchers’ Group
The SHCS YRG is a multidisciplinary group unifying members with diverse expertise and scientific backgrounds from all the SHCS centres. The goal of the group is to bring in a fresh perspective and develop new ideas and HIV-related research projects.
How to become a member
We aim to be inclusive of new members. We actively strive for diversity in terms of gender, scientific profile and geographic representation. In new members we are looking for candidates preferentially with a postgraduate degree (MD or PhD), experience in HIV research as well as reviewing proposals/papers/projects and be connected to or involved in an SHCS centre. Potential members should be committed to actively participate in the 5/year in-person YRG meetings in Bern and interested in collaborating with other YRG members. Persons interested to join our group can reach out to any YRG member.
